Our latest newsletter is out now! Take a look at what the boys have achieved in the second half of Term 1.
A major source of income for the Association are the subscription fees that boys are encouraged to pay when they reach Year 7 or 8. Subscription entitles boys to Life Membership of HOBA and the annual Old Boys’ magazine ‘The Locker Room’. They also cover the cost of The Old Boy’s tie that is presented to every boy when they leave Hereworth.Download The Locker Room
The current Hereworth Old Boys’ Association President is Mr Marcus Peacock and he is supported by an active committee.
We are continuously updating our Old Boys’ database so we can keep you up to date with happenings at Hereworth and news from the Old Boys’ Association. If you have moved or changed your contact details recently, please complete the form below and submit. Thank you.
Regular social gatherings and the annual “Old versus Current” boys’ cricket match form the basis of the Association’s activities. It is active in various functions throughout the year, with a Founders’ Dinner, the Young Old Boys’ get-togethers, and the Old Boys’ Summer Sports Day to name a few. All functions are great opportunities for old boys to return to Hereworth, catch up with old friends, and enjoy some good old boy hospitality.
The biennial 4WD Trek is a big event for the HOBA and the ‘Hereworth Fence’ project has seen the old picket fence replaced with the sale of pickets going towards the Old Boys’ Scholarship Fund. Find out more about the Hereworth Fence Project and use the form below to purchase your personally named picket.Hereworth Fence Project
Hereworth Old Boys’ Association subscriptions and fundraising provides a scholarship that allows a Year 7 or 8 boy who, without the scholarship, would not be able to attend Hereworth. If you would like to contribute to the scholarships fund or establish a new scholarship in your name, please contact the Foundation Co-ordinator by email, or you can make a donation using the form below.
The 65 Club is an opportunity for Hereworth Old Boys aged 65 and over to get together for a lunch and a spot of reminiscing once or twice a year. There is a small one-off joining fee and a charge for each lunch to cover costs.
If you would like to join the 65 Club, or know someone who would qualify, please download the 65 Club Membership Form and return it to the Foundation Co-ordinator.65 Club Membership Form
