Performing Arts Philosophy
Lights... Camera... Action
From music to drama, speech to Kapa Haka, your child will be immersed in the challenging, incredibly satisfying world of the performing arts from the moment they step foot on school grounds.
With our world-class Performing Arts Centre, complete with newly installed lighting and sound, your child will discover their true potential. All of our students are immersed in Music, Dance and Drama classes as part of our curriculum from years 1 to 8 as they learn to express themselves, discover their sense of place in the world and expand their horizons.
And with every single Year 7 and Year 8 student being part of our production, they’ll experience what it’s like to get a standing ovation, from centre stage.
Musical Productions
Hereworth has established a well-deserved reputation for top-quality musical theatre shows.
Our biennial Senior School Production provides a wonderful opportunity for our Year 7 and Year 8 students to develop theatrical skills both on and off stage and embrace new challenges in the Performing Arts.
Our 2023 production - Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoast - showcased some incredible performances from all involved. Stars in the making? No doubt.
