Pick Up and Drop Off Information
TRAFFIC CONGESTION: In an attempt to alleviate traffic congestion during peak times and to ensure the safety of our students, drop off and pick up times at Hereworth are as follows:
Please remember: Parking is at a premium so please drop and/or collect and go as promptly and safely as you can.
Alternatively, Hereworth Grove (off Simla Ave) is another option to drop & collect your child. Please also remember that the speed limit within the school grounds is 20kmph.
Uniform
New and second-hand uniforms are available from our Uniform Shop which is open Wednesdays between 8.00am and 10.00am during term time. If you have any queries or wish to make an appointment, please email Becs Jensen at the uniform shop.

Boarders
If your child is a Day Boarder and in need of bus transportation each weekend, please click the below button to book the required bus route. All Boarding buses are outsourced and they will assist you with booking and any other queries.
Sport
Concussion
We follow New Zealand Rugby’s guidelines where concussion is suspected. For more details on concussion click here to visit their website.
Camps
Our School Camps are a fantastic start to each year and begin in Week 2 and Week 3 of Term One.
Each camp will allow your child to experience the fun and challenges of the outdoors while bonding with their classmates, all under the watchful eye of our teaching staff. Please read the below Camp Letter for further information, and then click on the relevant year group for specific details on your child's camping experience.
Any questions you have can be directed toward your child's classroom teacher.

School Bus
After School Care
Having trialled After School Care for our younger year levels over the past few years, we have developed a model for a service that will be available to students from Year 0 to 6 from the beginning of 2025.
It runs Monday to Friday until 4.30pm, and our Teacher Aides, Nicky Hanaray and Megan McKay, will run an engaging and varied programme of activities each week.
Cost:
3.00 - 3.45pm $5.00 per day
3.00 – 4.30pm $10.00 per day
Registration:
To ensure we can maintain appropriate staffing ratios, the number of places available are limited. Registrations open on the same day for current students and those starting in 2025 and you can book via the button below.
