Hereworth Old Boys' & Girls' Association
Established in 1948, the Hereworth Old Boys’ & Girls' Association (HOBGA) is an informal but energetic body that provides an ongoing link for past pupils with the school. Its fundraising achievements support an annual Old Boys’ & Girls' scholarship as well as various smaller projects within the school. The Association is also actively involved in the school’s governance with a Board of Trustee representative.
About HOBGA
Prior to leaving Hereworth all students are encouraged to join the HOBGA. The subscription fee entitles former students to become Life Members, and receive the Old Boy’s & Girls' tie upon leaving Hereworth.
The current Hereworth Old Boys’ & Girls' Association President is Mr Ben Absolom and he is supported by an active committee.

Social Activities
Other Events
Regular social gatherings and the annual “Old Students versus Current Students” cricket match form the basis of the Association’s activities. It is active in various functions throughout the year, with our “Founders' Day” a key date in the calendar.
With a new year on the horizon, the Association is looking at ramping up activities and we look forward to seeing many past students welcomed back onto School grounds to swap stories, handshakes, and that familiar Hereworth hospitality.
The biennial 4WD Trek is a big event for the HOBGA and the ‘Hereworth Fence’ project has seen the old picket fence replaced with the sale of pickets going towards the Old Boys’ & Girls' Scholarship Fund. Find out more about the Hereworth Fence Project and click the button below to purchase your personally named picket.
Supporting Current & Future Hereworth Students
The Association's fundraising provides scholarships that allow Year 7 or 8 students who, without this scholarship, would not be able to attend Hereworth. If you would like to contribute to the scholarships fund or establish a new scholarship in your name, please contact the Foundation Co-ordinator by email, or you can make a donation using the form below.
The 65 Club
The 65 Club is an opportunity for former Hereworth students aged 65 and over to get together for lunch and a spot of reminiscing once or twice a year. There is a small one-off joining fee and a charge for each lunch to cover costs.
If you would like to join the 65 Club, or know someone who would qualify, please download the 65 Club Membership Form using the button below, and return it to the Foundation Co-ordinator.
