Hereworth Cricket Academy

We're thrilled to launch the first-ever Hereworth Cricket Academy in 2025.

This is an opportunity for your son or daughter to learn the skills of the game from our newly appointed Hereworth Cricket Academy Professional Cricket Coach, Bayley Wiggins. Having played for Central Districts, Bayley is a first-class cricketer and a Level 2 NZC Coach, ensuring his skills as a wicket-keeper/batsman and love of the game will provide the insight and coaching our younger cricketers need.

All sessions are conducted in our new Sports Centre or on Hereworth cricket grounds, are available to all skill levels, and are one coach/two players. For Hereworth students, these lessons have the added advantage of taking place during the normal school day, similar to our music/speech & drama lessons.
